Living On The Outside is a locally owned and operated independent store.   Our store here in Townsville has been going strong for over 14 years and continues to grow with sales all over Australia and New Zealand (yes, we can arrange shipment/delivery).

Our Townsville situated at the Domain Home Maker centre, centrally located in Townsville between Snooze and Kathmandu, is open 7 Days a week.

We are a locally owned and operated store with over 30 years combined experience in designing, importing and supplying outdoor furniture that meets the needs of our customers.   We don’t try to dictate what “is best for you”.   However, we can assist you in making the best choice possible in meeting all your outdoor entertaining requirements.  Working directly with factories ensures that there is no middle man and we can guarantee you the best quality at an affordable price.   Our vision is to sell only the best quality, affordable products which have proven to stand up to our specific climate and normal day to day wear and tear.

Our products are all sourced from certified sustainable forest supplies and no other and aimed at the middle market customer who is looking for long lasting affordable quality products that we all know don’t come “cheap”.   Can we get cheap products?  Yes we can, but with “cheap” comes substandard quality that we all pay for in the long term.   Customers are apt to replace these cheap products more frequently, spending just as much, if not more, than having bought the quality product at the onset. Not to mention the headaches of having to return products time after time.

We are specialists in outdoor dining, lounging and entertaining.  Being specialists with direct access to our manufacturers allows you to Mix and Match only those pieces you need; thus creating a style that suits your own taste and lifestyle.

We purposefully don’t include prices on our web site because when you are not buying on finance we like to pass these charges back to you.   There are times when we can offer fantastic discounts and we often discount on package deals.   We do have in store finance for those wishing to take advantage of long term interest free payment options.   We offer extensive and flexible lay by options and we can hold and store your purchase (Christmas presents, etc.) without charge and until you are ready to collect them.

We pride ourselves on offering the best possible customer service, including our free Home and Commercial services where we will happily visit your home, office, etc., and assist you in designing a unique outdoor entertainment area that fulfils all of your requirements.

We cater for all size markets, from a small balcony to commercial sites and sales.   From small single pieces to custom made cushioning, you won’t find any better in products, product knowledge, customer service and/or flexibility.

Being locally owned and operated we also assist in sponsoring local events and charities.
